Beware of the NIV and other new versions of the Bible
with its many deceiving verses. Here are a few
examples…
1 Thess 5:22
KJV Abstain from all appearance of evil.
NIV Reject every kind of evil.
2 Tim 2:15
KJV Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a
workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing
the word of truth.
NIV Do your best to present yourself to God as one
approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed
and who correctly handles the word of truth.
1 Corinthians 6:18
KJV Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is
without the body; but he that committeth fornication
sinneth against his own body.
NIV Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person
commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually,
sins against their own body.
Leviticus 19:19
KJV neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woolen
come upon thee.
NIV Do not wear clothing woven of two kinds of material.
Proverbs 18:8
KJV The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they
go down into the innermost parts of the belly.

Matthew 18:11 in the NIV?
It’s not there!
In the KJV it says:
For the Son of man is come to save
that which was lost.

acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye

the Bible's message? Is the NIV a "gay Bible"? Is it the
"Not Inspired Version"? There has been a lot of false
information floating around out there about how the Bible
has been translated. Many people are confused about
the difference between textual sources and translational
methodology. Many are under the false impression that
newer translations are "taking out" various passages that
belong in the Bible. However, there are some genuinely
bad translations. This video is an attempt to bring clarity
and rationality to the discussion and leave you with a
general understanding of Bible translations.
