The Rapture
“For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive
and remain until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who
have fallen asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven
with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of
God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and
remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the
Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord.”
1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 (NASB)
The Rapture
“Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be
changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet;
for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable,
and we will be changed. For this perishable must put on the
imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality. But when this
perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have
put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written,
“Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your victory? O
death, where is your sting?””
1 Corinthians 15:51-55 (NASB)
What is the Rapture?
The Rapture is when Jesus returns for His true church, that is those
who are born again and have a personal relationship with Jesus. All
of this will take place in the twinkling of an eye. The seven year
tribulation will then start, at the end of which the second coming of
Jesus will happen. The antichrist will emerge at the beginning of the
tribulation.
Are you ready?
“Then everyone will see the Son of Man [Jesus] coming on the
clouds with great power and glory. And he will send out his angels to
gather his chosen ones from all over the world — from the farthest
ends of the earth and heaven.”
Mark 13:26-27 (NLT)

“So when all these things begin to happen, stand and look up, for
your salvation is near!” Then he gave them this illustration: “Notice
the fig tree, or any other tree. When the leaves come out, you know
without being told that summer is near. In the same way, when you
see all these things taking place, you can know that the Kingdom of
God is near.”
Luke 21:28-32
“Now as to the times and the epochs, brethren, you have no need of
anything to be written to you. For you yourselves know full well that
the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night. While they
are saying, “Peace and safety!” then destruction will come upon them
suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not
escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day would
overtake you like a thief; for you are all sons of light and sons of day.
We are not of night nor of darkness; so then let us not sleep as
others do, but let us be alert and sober. For those who sleep do their
sleeping at night, and those who get drunk get drunk at night. But
since we are of the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate
of faith and love, and as a helmet, the hope of salvation. For God
has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our
Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, so that whether we are awake or
asleep, we will live together with Him. Therefore encourage one
another and build up one another, just as you also are doing.”
1 Thessalonians 5:1-11 (NASB)
Rapture before the tribulation
“And you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he will be
revealed. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he
who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way. Then
that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the
breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His
coming; that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity
of satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, and with all the
deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not
receive the love of the truth so as to be saved.”
2 Thessalonians 2:6-10 (NASB)

The Second Coming of Jesus
20 Mar 2020
There is a chronological sequence of events regarding the end times.
Often, Christians see the second coming of Jesus and the rapture of
the Church as the same event, when in reality, they are years apart
and for different purposes. According to the Bible, when is the second
coming of Jesus? What is the purpose? Will Jesus be coming for
us...or with us? Join Amir as he teaches what the Bible has to say
concerning the return of Jesus Christ!
“Because you have kept my command to endure, I will also keep you
from the hour of testing that is going to come on the whole world to
test those who live on the earth. I am coming soon. Hold on to what
you have, so that no one takes your crown.”
Revelation 3:10-11 (CSB)
The Church is mentioned 19 times in the first 3 chapters of
Revelation, but not at all in the remaining 18 chapters where the 7
year tribulation is described. This fact tells us that the Church is not
present during that period, having been raptured to Heaven. That is
why Revelation 3:10 was written.
