Whirlpool Dream - Thu 22 Sep 2016 05.20 I was in a public park that had waterways running through it and I took a ride on one of its boats. It looked like an old sailing ship. There were other people on it. We started off sedately on smooth water then the water was flowing faster. I then discovered that the ship was also powered by an electric outboard type motor with a propellor. I thought the battery power would be at its best now as it was early morning and therefore the batteries would have been charging overnight. The waterways twisted and turned. At one point the captain radioed back to base that there was a whirlpool ahead, then we spun round and round in it but the captain powered his way out of it to the other side. I was looking over the stern and watching the propellor powering us along. I then saw the propellor arm lifting up to stop it grounding in some turbulent shallow water. The propellor was still under the surface of the water but not giving as much forward thrust as usual due to the angled position. The forward momentum and the wind in the sails must have kept us going. We then went through a small area of the park that had derelict buildings on both sides of the waterway. Each building just consisted of four walls with holes where the windows and door used to be. The city of Basra came to mind. Interpretation Jesus is the ship's captain. God is who the captain radioed back to at base. The Holy Spirit is the electric and wind power. The whirlpool is opposing currents of spiritual warfare. Troubles ahead but the Holy Spirit will power us through. We need to make sure our sails are up to receive all the power of the Holy Spirit to get us through the hard times. Later, on 14 Oct 2016 the Lord impressed on me that we need to pray to lessen the trouble.
